Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is no doubt a change in the franchise. All-new Battle Royale mode called ‘Blackout’ really made some change. Black Ops 4 will release on October 12, 2018, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There had been some rumors about Bo4 releasing on Nintendo Switch as well, but according to Treyarch, there are no plans in near future for such release. In an interview, Twinfinite asked Matt Scronce (game designer) about the release of BO4 on Nintendo and he replied: “No there is not.”
Recently, a new and somewhat weird listing has been spotted on Amazon UK that states the game will have “Bonus Digital Item” which will release on December 10, 2018. Since every pre-order bonus for a Treyarch game has always been a Map “Nuketown” or some exclusive Camos etc, this really means something or nothing at all. As this ‘Bonus Digital Item’ is 2 months after the release of the game, it could be a remaster of one of the previous Treyarch games that are Black Ops 1 or Black Ops 2. Or, it could be a DLC as Treyarch stated in the Reveal Event that they will be delivering content for this game throughout the year! What do you think?
Call of Duty: Black Ops was released on November 9. 2010 and following the series, Black Ops 2 was released on November 13, 2012, on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. All-new Battle Royale mode “Blackout” will be available at launch on October 12.
